In order to show how much it values its customers, Office Max has gone to the great expense of sticking a packing pallet in the large pothole that was once the entrance to the parking lot. I thought it would be temporary, but a month later I’m starting to think it’s a permanent installation. I guess, you know, filling it with something just wasn’t an option.
I know potholes are a problem in Aberdeen, especially this spring, but at least Culvers had the decency to throw a few bucks worth of rocks in theirs so customers could drive over them. Judging by their empty parking lot on a Saturday Office Max’s business isn’t that great anyway, but this just seems like a giant middle finger to all potential customers that says “this is how much we value your business”.
I’m in the market for a new computer, but I haven’t gone to Office Max since they installed their new “welcome sign”, and I don’t plan to any time soon.
